I’m Aileen Siroy, the founder, travel blogger, and writer behind everything you see here.

I originally started Travel.Food.Finds years ago as a personal travel diary. Back then, I shared everything from my favorite travel gear (like my trusty Batangas leather satchel and camera bags) to my backpacking adventures, whether that was staying at the vibrant goSTOPS Hostel in Varanasi, India, exploring the majestic Mt. Mayon and Cagsawa Ruins in the Philippines, or hunting down the best traditional Buko Pie.

But along the way, I realized something: the one thing every traveler constantly searches for is accurate, up-to-date food information.

Every town and city has its own food story, and I wanted to create a dedicated space to share those delicious discoveries with travelers who want real, honest food recommendations. That’s how this site evolved into the global menu guide it is today.

How the Info is Put Together

I do the homework so you don’t have to. Before writing, I spend time digging through official restaurant websites, checking verified business directories, and pulling from my own travel experiences.

Since menus change, spots close, and prices go up, I do regular check-ins on my posts to update them and keep things as accurate as possible.
